You can start at either end of your foot, but make sure that the entire foot receives the benefit of massage.

Pour a spoonful of quart size lotion into your hand and start at the heel, rubbing himself repeatedly with a light touch, the skin softening and soothing stress. If possible, use a nail buffer that has three distinct finishes. Start with the roughest area first and give each nail 20 strokes. This tool keeps polish from smearing as toes bump together.

When polishing toenails, keep in mind beat your feet take during the day. Start with a base layer of transparent varnish to prevent yellowing nails resulting black lacquer painted directly on the nail. Two color channels will remain attractive nails for up to two weeks. Finish with two sheer layers of an upper layer of protection to keep your pedicure looking great.
